(DE) Zwei europäische Doom Metal-Schwergewichte zusammen auf Tour!

SUM OF R sind quasi eine europäische Supergroup des Doom Metals, weil u. a. mit Mitgliedern von Dark Buddha Rising, Waste Of Space Orchestra und Ural Umbo. Die drei Musiker aus Finnland und der Schweiz setzen auf effektreichen, dronigen Post- und Doom Metal mit mächtiger Stimmgewalt.

WYATT E. überzeugen überwiegend instrumental mit doomigem Post-Rock. Durch den Einsatz verschiedenster Instrumente entsteht ein orientalisch anmutender Sound, der sich wie eine Wanderung durch die Wüste anfühlt. Die drei Belgier treten dabei geheimnisvoll verhüllt auf, ihre Konzerte haben so etwas rituelles, werden gar zur dunklen Messe.

Wer die beiden Bands beim Dudefest im April 2022 gesehen, nein, erlebt hat, weiß was auf sie/ihn zukommt, der Rest sollte sich das Spektakel nicht entgehen lassen.

SUM OF R are a european doom metal supergroup in a way, as they feature members of Dark Buddha Rising, Waste Of Space Orchestra and Ural Umbo. The three musicians from Finland and Switzerland play a droning kind of post and doom metal rich in effects with some impressive vocal perfomances.

WYATT E.s predominantly instrumental music is doomy and post-rockish. Using a variety of instruments, they create a kind of oriental sound which feels like a hike through a desert. Concerts of the three Belgians feel ritual, almost like a dark mass, as they appear mystically cloaked on stage. Whoever has seen these two bands perform at Dudefest in April 2022, knows what to expect, the rest should definetly not miss this one!
