Und was für ein Düsterer! Spätestens mit dem 2017er Meisterwerk "Mirror Reaper", einem 83-minütigem Song in Album-Format, hat sich das Duo aus Seattle an die Spitze des amerikanischen Doom Metal gespielt. Ganz in dieser Tradition kommt ihr neuestes Werk daher. Ein Song, 83 Minuten, düsterer, schwerer Doom Metal. Langwierig, aber nie langweilig, erweitern BELL WITCH auf "The Clandestine Gate" ihren atmosphärischen Sound durch den Einsatz von Orgeln und Synthesizern. "The Clandestine Gate" bildet dabei den Auftakt der Album-Reihe "Future's Shadow", und erschien just Ende April digital. Das physische Release erfolgt Anfang Juni über Profound Lore Records. Wir freuen uns auf eine spezielle Live-Show auf der großen Bühne des P8², so viel können wir verraten! Dass Italien eine florierende Doom Metal Szene vorzuweisen hat, dürfte auch hierzulande bekannt sein. So haben sich Bell Witch die italienische Funeral Doom Band FUOCO FATUO als Support ihrer Europa-Tour im August geschnappt. Eine gute Wahl, wie wir finden! Auf die Ohren gibts hier einen brutalen Mix aus Doom und Death Metal. Nicht verpassen! (EN) BELL WITCH at P8², a dream come true. And what a gloomy one! With their 2017 masterpiece "Mirror Reaper", a 83 minute long song forming an entire album, at the latest, the Seattle duo has made their way to the top of the American doom metal scene. Coming in the same vein, BELL WITCHs newest work is 83 minutes of dark doom metal furthermore. Tortuous but never dull, Bell Witch expand their atmospheric sound on "The Clandestine Gate" through using instruments like synthesizers and the organ. "The Clandestine Gate" was released digitally in late April and marks the first entry of a series of albums entitled "Future's Shadow". A physical release is expected in early June on Profound Lore Records. We're more than thrilled for their special live perfomance, that's what we can announce by now! For their European tour in August, Bell Witch managed to get Italian funereal doom band FUOCO FATUO as supporting band. Good choice! We're excited for their brutal mix of doom and death metal. Don't miss them!
